Shipping is a complicated issue that rarely is a direct function of the distance between the printing facility and the location where documents are needed. Most shipping companies transport packages to a centralized hub, sort and then transport to the final location. For example an express package sent from Washington, D.C. to nearby Dulles, Virginia, first goes to the Federal Express hub in Memphis before finding its way back to a location only 20 minutes away.
Mimeo has strategically located our two printing facilities next to the two largest Federal Express hub distribution centers in the United States, Newark and Memphis. By locating next to these facilities your printed documents are already at the hub and do not need to be transported there. By cutting out up to 50% of the distance, shipping through Mimeo is usually less than if you were transporting a package across town.
We automatically route your project to the lowest cost facility based on your timing and document requirements. The pricing that appears on our online document builder reflects these considerations. Using our online tool you can determine the optimal combination of processing time and shipping selection for your specific order. In addition, it is not necessary to store “extra” documents in a warehouse, since the unit price does not change with each order so order only the amount you need.

International Shipping
Shipping to countries outside of the United States is something we do every day. With the decline of the US Dollar, it is often less expensive to print and ship from the United States to many places around the world including Europe. Our customer service team works with the custom specialists at the major carriers to ensure that your documents quickly get to the recipient.

Mimeo only uses high-end production digital printers and industrial strength finishing equipment. We are a printer, not a “copy shop”. Our equipment consistently produces high quality and our on-site maintenance staff means you never have to worry about equipment failure.
Printing technology is rapidly changing. Methods used to print last year may have been replaced by a better alternative or multiple approaches are called for. The point where one printing process makes more sense than the other is always shifting. Our specialists can help you compare the cost/benefit of all options based on your specific requirements.
There are also items that are better left to other specialists. Mimeo works with partners to provide offset printing. Our outsourcing team will work with you to determine the most efficient way to produce these materials. We will also partner with your vendors to provide the convenience of single point warehousing, ordering and invoicing.

It’s Quick to Install and Easy to Use!
Mimeo is constantly striving to meet your document printing needs. As part of this effort, we have developed and enhanced the technology around the Mimeo Printer (driver), which will radically improve the experience of uploading files to Mimeo.
With the updated Mimeo Printer, you can:
- Drag and drop multiple files or even folders for uploading
- Queue up as many files as you wish – they’ll upload automatically
- Rename files directly in the upload manager, before or after they are uploaded
- See a history of recent files that have been uploaded
After clicking the download button you will be prompted to either run or save the installation file. Do not run it. To avoid installation errors your should save the file. Once the file has downloaded to your desktop, double-click it to begin installation.
If you have the beta version of the Mimeo Printer installed, we highly recommend you uninstall the beta software before installing the new software. Click Start > All Programs > Mimeo > Uninstall.
